At the upcoming “6th BBB mini-symposium in Smolenice,” we look forward to reconnecting with you and engaging in discussions about the intricate machinery of the BBB within the brain neurovascular unit. Our research group, situated at the Institute of Neuroimmunology, Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia is actively exploring BBB pathophysiology in neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory disorders and to elucidate the adverse reactions of drugs in the central nervous system and their underlying mechanisms.
The symposium program encompasses a comprehensive exploration of BBB, including the heterogeneity of activated brain immune cells under various pathological conditions. We anticipate the pleasure of meeting you in Smolenice for this noteworthy BBB event.
